BOULDER OFFICES - SPACE STATISTICS
The City of Boulder includes 8.5 million square feet of Class A and Class B office space in 389 buildings.  Zoning regulations restrict the height of buildings; much of the area's office space is located in buildings of two to five stories with smaller floorplates than what is found in downtown Denver.  Boulder office buildings tend to be clustered in developments throughout the city, including the very popoular downtown area near shops and restaurants, and the flex-type properties to the east in Flatiron Park.  Companies draw talent from a sophisticated and highly educated workforce in the area.

TRANSPORTATION
Boulder is serviced by the Regional Transportation District (RTD) with a number of local and regional buses running seven days a week, including service to Denver International Airport, Denver and surrounding areas. In addition to the public transit system, Boulder has an extensive bike path and bike lane system that makes commuting by bike a convenient and popular option in the area.

AREA FEATURES
Boulder offers countless recreational activities throughout the year, including a number of public parks and around 200 miles of trails, including the Boulder Creek Path, which runs through the middle of town. Pearl Street Mall, a pedestrian located in historic downtown Boulder, hosts an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, bars, businesses and residences, and often features a number of street performers and musicians.

Boulder is home to several art galleries and theaters, and hosts the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and the Colorado Music Festival each year.  The popoular Farmer's Market that runs through spring through fall on Wednesdays and Saturdays is hosted downtown.  The University of Colorado at Boulder, Naropa University and several scientific and research facilities, including the National Center for Atmospheric Research, reside in Boulder.
