WEST DENVER OFFICE SPACE STATISTICS
The area includes 10.7 million square feet of Class A and Class B office space in 330 buildings.  In this submarket, clusters of Class A & B office space are found primarily along 6th Avenue, I-70, Union Boulevard and portions of Golden. The Denver West Office Park is a popular site for leasing, located near restaurants and hotels, with easy access to I-70 and the mountains.

TRANSPORTATION
The area is easily accessed by car via highways I-70, C-470 and I-25, and is served by express and local public transportation.  Future public transportation plans include FasTracks light rail lines servicing portions of the West Denver submarket. The West Line will run from Downtown Union Station to the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Building (aka "The Taj") in Golden. The Gold Line will service areas along I-70 from Downtown Union Station to Arvada. 

AREA FEATURES
The area hosts a number of Colorado’s “green energy” organizations, and is home to the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), the only federal laboratory dedicated to the research, development, commercialization and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.

West Denver has several parks and museums, including the popular Buffalo Bill Memorial Museum and Grave on Lookout Mountain Road.  Area attractions include the historic Lakeside Amusment Park, an aquariam and botanical gardens, in addition to The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the largest multi-disciplinary art and cultural center in the country, featuring award-winning performances.
